Interview

To ensure you enjoy optimal comfort for as long as possible, we recommend that you follow these instructions:

Proper ventilation in your room

As with any mattress, ventilation is essential for wicking away moisture absorbed by your mattress overnight. It also helps refresh the materials and limit the growth of dust mites.

Flipping Your Mattress

Rotating your mattress regularly helps maintain its shape and distribute the filling evenly. For traditional futons, it is also recommended to roll them up daily.

Head-to-toe flip
To do this, fold your mattress in half lengthwise, then gradually pull the bottom part toward you on each side.

Double-sided flipping
To do this, fold your mattress in half as well, then pull the opposite corner of the mattress toward you.

To make the task easier, you can use dishwashing gloves, which will help you get a good grip on the cloth.

Tapping

Tap your mattress occasionally with your forearms or using a small board. This helps fluff up the cotton and restore some of its softness. This technique is used during the mattress manufacturing process.

Stain Prevention and Cleaning

Since your mattress does not have a removable cover, it is essential to prevent stains from forming. To do this, use a mattress protector under your fitted sheet. The protector should be breathable to prevent moisture buildup. If a stain occurs, clean it as quickly as possible using mild soap and a damp cloth, then gently dab the stain, taking care to avoid excess water. Leave your mattress out in the open until the fabric is completely dry.
